Our gas company was bought out by Suburban. Prior to that they were a good company.

I called Suburban in August and ask them what their pre-buy price was. It was too high, I asked if they would honor another companies price and they said "No". I said that their price was too high and that we were switching to a local based company. (By the way our bill is payed off, always has been.) In Sept.

of this year we came home from work to find a Suburban slip in our door. They had come and filled out tank to the tune of nearly $500. Anyway to cut thru the chase I have been calling and writing and trying to get some answers and all I get is more bills. When I call the receptionist acts like it's the first time I've called (try about 10) and my complaint goes nowhere.

I did get a call and they understood I was wanting to get the tank off my property, no it's $500 worth of gas I am being charged for.

The weather was bad and the ground was too spongey to get big trucks in, I understand that completely, no problem. UGGGGG!

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Location: Merrillan, Wisconsin

You are not the only one they have done that too and sure not the last! They did the exact same to me!

A single mom with 2 toddlers! They also replaced a 15 year old tank with a newer model and left the tank sitting at an angle and falling off its foundation blocks to wear its pulling away from the house.

As with you....zero help or zero compassion from the corporate...the prices are the way they are and they will get someone out to look at the tank Friday (5 days out!!!).

What ever happened to customer service? Pictures of my tank and the way suburban placed it will be posted!

You omit some pertinant details. Do you have another company's tank and drawing propane from that one or are you using the tank they filled?

If you have another tank and use that one, then tell them they need to remove their tank along with the propane in it that you didn't order.

You may have to talk to an attorney(get a free consultation) because they will, no doubt report the unpaid bill they say you owe as a bad debt and thereby harm your credit. In any event, get advice/help from an attorney.
