Suburban Propane

I started getting bills for equipment and tank rental which I own. I searched other Propane businesses and went elsewhere.

For me, it was a great experience, they were able to get me a good price on propane. They stood by everything they promised and delivered.

Their tech did an excellent job. Would highly recommend!

They came out. I didn't need any propane.

I got charged $80, plus I received another bill for $50 labeled as rental.

So, I canceled them. I had them for over 30 years.

They closed my father's account because he hadn't used it for 2 years. That might be okay, but they should definitely notify the customer.

You then have to pay over 100 dollars to start a new account. And they turned him down. Why? Because he hadn't needed propane?

Tried to go with another company, they required information that Suburban Propane would have had, had they not deleted everything. Do not trust them.

Customer service is rude to top things off. Do not do business with Suburban Propane.

We called for almost a week for an "emergency" delivery. Every time we called we were given an excuse or told a different lie.

They advertise 24/7/365 Emergency deliveries this is so not true.

They can care less about their customers. Plus, they charge their customers more for propane than other companies.

Had a $1100 credit on the account. Switched to a different company and after all the *** charges, and they recovered 310 gallons of propane, I got a check for $400.

These people are absolute crooks in my opinion.

Do not deal with these people. You'll be sorry.

My cost for propane went from $3.599 to $5.599 from April to September 2024. A $2.00 per gal increase in 5 months given to a 25-year customer that paid bills on time.

The CT residential cost for propane on the September date of delivery was $3.586.

I called, $1.50 relief offered instantly; why? They wouldn't clearly explain the reason for the spike, it was all BS.

They just lost a 25-year customer because of sheer price gauging and greed. Goodbye Suburban!

Called for a top off, August. $3.98 gallon

Guy had to reset his meter,while at my house, which resulted in a second delivery charge, $9.17x 2.

Cant wait to cancel the agreement.

This company charged me $800 and did absolutely nothing for me. They alleged they applied for a permit.

I saw no permit application and they were unable to complete the job. I had to pay another company to do the work they were supposed to do. Communication is horrid. The woman named Mirna in the office is impossible very difficult.

Didnt do the job and would not remove the bill. She forced me to pay for something they didnt do.

Suburban let my gas completely run out. When they came they told me my stove was bad and I had a leak.

I hired a private company who they referred to check it out. Largo piping and gas said the stove had no leaks. Suburban disconnected my stove and put another red tag on it. Largo piping came while Suburban was still at my house and did manometer test right in front of Suburban tech.

He stated that he called his boss and was told to still put a red tag on my stove. Now I just received a $400 bill for him doing that.

Called 3 times to explain i never received the service i paid for and upper management pretty much said tough ***

No matter how many times you call and tell them you sold your house and the new owner took them over. They continue too bill you for tank rentall you now longer own. This is the worst propane company I have ever delt with.

We moved, being our first time with propane, heats and cooking. I called our local office.

Angie answered the phone. She explained in detail how everything works.

She took the time to explain the different ways we could be set up. Very helpful.
